Brand Identity and Packaging
Superfine Yarn Company
OBJECTIVE: Sarah at Superfine Yarn asked us to develop branding and packaging for her startup yarn company specializing in hand-dyed lots and vibrant colors.   
SOLUTION: The small batch handmade aspect is a core value of Super Fine's brand that we wanted to showcase. In our research, we found inspiration in the twisted skeins of yarn and developed that into an S-shaped logo mark. The rough texture of the brand mark relates to the product's raw materials and handmade nature. 
We then used custom watercolor paintings to represent the bold colors and unique dyeing process. Combining these textures with hand-drawn patterns formed the basis of their packaging and print collateral.
