Community of Hope
OBJECTIVE: To rebrand a young non-profit that mentors underserved children in the Cleveland area. Community of Hope helps to fill the gap between foster homes and adult life with a supportive safety net of mentors for each of their children that gives them a sense of trust and belonging, all while providing them with life skills and real opportunities to become part of the community.
SOLUTION: Community of Hope's approach involves intensive support with a large group of mentors for each child, and the design solution needed to reflect that. We found inspiration in their tagline, "Growing Up, Growing Together," and built an array of leaves around an upward sweeping arrow to symbolize growth and a positive trajectory. Each leaf represents a mentor, while the colors represent their diversity and transformation. For single color applications, a thin line version is used.
